Geri is a board certified nurse practitioner and completed her NP program at University of California, at Davis.  Prior to her NP program, Geri attended San Jose State University where she concurrently completed two Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing and Biological Sciences with a concentration in Systems Physiology. She also received two minors in Chemistry and Health Sciences. She is a member of Golden Key International Honor Society and graduated Cum Laude. She continues to develop her interests in science and healthcare by also working as a Clinical Research Nurse. 

What Geri values most about being a Nurse Practitioner at Khuu Dermatology is the exposure to medical, surgical, laser, and cosmetic dermatology. This clinical variety allows her to provide the most comprehensive care to a diverse patient population with a variety of dermatological needs, thus broadening her knowledge, skills, and experience. Furthermore, she appreciates the time that Dr. Khuu takes to develop each of his staff members because it provides her with the opportunity to learn and work with a knowledgeable multidisciplinary team.

Outside of work Geri enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves being outdoors, traveling, and exposing herself to as many new experiences as possible. She particularly enjoys sharing these experiences with her son.
