Duke T. Khuu, M.D., F.A.A.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology. He specializes in medical, surgical, laser and non-invasive cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Khuu received his Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2002. Prior to medical school at Stanford, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from University of California at Berkeley. He completed his transitional internship in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Khuu then went on to complete his specialty training in dermatology at State University of New York in Stony Brook, where he served as Chief Resident in Dermatology. During his dermatology residency, Dr. Khuu had in-depth training in skin cancer diagnoses and surgical treatments at Memorial Sloan Kettering Skin Cancer Center. He also received injectable cosmetic training in New York, New York and Paris, France.
Dr. Khuu has published extensively and continues to stay at the forefront of his field. He volunteers his time to attend Dermatology Grand Rounds at Stanford University to discuss challenging cases facing community dermatologists. Dr. Khuu sees both children and adults for their dermatological needs relating to skin, hair, and nail conditions. Dr. Khuu is an active member of American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, and the Santa Clara County Medical Association. Currently he holds hospital privileges at El Camino Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.
Dr. Khuu enjoys figure skating, international latin ballroom, traveling and spending time with his friends and family.
With his knowledge and skill set, Dr. Khuu has developed his own line of personal-care products. Each unique formula is suitable for even the most sensitive skin types and are all inspired by a trip he took to Greece and Turkey.

Quyen Ho, R.N., B.S.N. specializes in laser hair removal at Khuu Dermatology. She is also certified on the Vbeam laser and GentleMax Pro. She enjoys working at Khuu Dermatology for its blend of medical and cosmetic dermatology, enabling her to broaden her knowledge base and work in a positive environment.
Quyen completed her first degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Davis. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma’s satellite campus in Glendale, California. Following her certification as a Registered Nurse, Quyen worked in the emergency department of a local hospital. She joined Khuu Dermatology in June of 2011.
Outside of her work at Khuu Dermatology, Quyen enjoys hiking, snorkeling, traveling, reading, and volunteering for organizations such as the American Red Cross and Sacred Heart of San Jose. Quyen is a California licensed Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse.
Kelly Ghilarduccci was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. She attended San José State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, with an emphasis on movement science. Following that she worked for the California transplant donor network doing donor recoveries. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Kelly traveled to upstate New York to attend the University of Rochester. She attended an accelerated nursing program and received a Bachelors in Nursing.
Since graduating Kelly has worked in traveling vaccination clinics, home healthcare and now dermatology. Kelly loves the fact that Khuu Dermatology offers both medical and cosmetic treatment. Having her day balanced by the diverse types of patients served by the practice is always exciting to her.
Kelly enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She enjoys exercising, hiking, eating and traveling!
Darby Nguyen, RN, BSN
Certified Registered Nurse
Darby Nguyen began his higher education at De Anza College, where he earned his Associate of Art degree, with a focus in Studio Art. After that, he got into California State Univeristy, Chico, nursing program. He was also inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Science Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society during his time at Chico. In 2012, Darby received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Darby is excited and eager to start his first nursing career at Khuu Dermatology. He finds that being a part of this practice is a unique experience, as he can use both of his nursing knowledge and artistic talent into his daily work. What he loves the most about Khuu Dermatology is seeing the "magic" happens during our cosmetic treatments.
For Leisure, Darby enjoys working out, practicing martial arts, drawing, decorating his house, and visiting his best friends all over California. He loves Greek mythology and firmly believes in the saying, "Mens sana in corpre sano".
Ruby Prado, RN, BSN
Certified Registered Nurse
Ruby Prado, R.N., B.S.N. specializes in medical and cosmetics at Khuu Dermatology. Ruby is certified on the Candela Lasers GentleMax Pro for Laser Hair Removal and Perfecta Vbeam Leg Veins Treatment. Ruby is fluent in Spanish and loves working with patients.
Ruby completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of San Francisco in 2011. Following her certification as a Registered Nurse, Ruby joined Khuu Dermatology in February of 2012. Ruby is a California licensed Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse. Ruby received honors from The Honor Society of Nursing, Beta Gamma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), and is a continuing member.
Ruby enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Sue Lim, BA, CME
Certified Medical Esthetician
Sue Lim is an Aesthetician at Khuu Dermatology specializing in acne facials, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Sue completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at University of Southern California and is a licensed Cosmetologist. Sue is continuing her advanced training in Aesthetics at the International Dermal Institute in San Francisco.
Outside of work, Sue enjoys eating exotic foods - she'll try anything at least once! She also enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling.
David Del Cid, CME
Certified Medical Esthetician
David Del Cid was raised in Los Angeles, California and has been living in the Bay Area for the past eight years. He completed his Aesthetic Certification from San Jose City College and has been working at Khuu Dermatology as our Licensed Aesthetician since early 2012. David recently completed his certification in Swedish Massage and is looking forward to receiving more training in Deep Tissue and Sports massage from McKinnon Body Therapy Center.
Outside of Khuu Dermatology David enjoys teaching, competitive cheerleading, and tumbling. He also enjoys traveling, working out, dance, and spending time with family and close friends.
Kamil Oushan, JD
Certified Medical Biller
Kamil has twenty-five years of health care reimbursement and billing experience. He takes care of Dr. Duke Khuu’s billing. Kamil completed his J.D. degree.
Outside of doing billing for Dr. Khuu, Kamil enjoys helping people with contract issues. He watches football, baseball and basketball religiously. His teams are the Yankees, Lakers and Patriots. He grew up in Italy and loves to travel to different countries.
Kimberly Crowe is the office Administrator at Khuu Dermatology. She received her Business Information and Computing System degree from San Francisco State University. Prior to joining Khuu Dermatology, she worked for Wells Fargo Bank and AAA holding various management positions in the call center operations and telecommunication areas.
She enjoys coming to work with the wonderful staff and it makes her day when she sees the amazing results on patients.
Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to cook and read. She takes pride in volunteering at her children's schools and in raising awareness for children's cancer research organizations, including the Histiocytosis Association and Rally Foundation.
